Step into baby Ezra’s nursery and the first word that comes to mind is cozy. Warm woods, classic textures, and little moments of whimsy come together to create a room that feels both tender and timeless. It’s the kind of space that invites you to linger—from the wallpaper dotted with vintage propeller planes to the cloud mobile hovering above the crib, and a custom name pennant that adds just the right personal touch.
Below, Ezra’s mom—a California-based mother of two—shares how she brought her five-month-old son’s nursery to life, one thoughtful detail at a time.

What was the look and feel you were going for as you designed the nursery?
I really wanted something that fit that "vintage" aesthetic while also keeping it neutral. I like adding pops of color with things like accent pillows, books, or blankets.
Can you share a little bit about the process of putting it together?
When I first found the airplane wallpaper from ArtzaCo, I knew I wanted that to be the central focus of the nursery. It gave off that perfect vintage touch while also still giving this space that "a little boy dreams here" vibe. I've always loved the look of shiplap in a nursery so I knew from the start that I wanted to incorporate that into the space as well. From there, it was all about finding the perfect crib and decor to add the finishing touches.

Did you add or change anything once baby arrived?
Once Ezra was home with us, I added the sweetest little vintage bookshelf right beside my nursery glider. I knew it would be the perfect place to style his little stuffed bears and our current favorite book.

Favorite thing about the nursery?
That would have to be the wallpaper, 100%! It just fits so beautifully into this space.
