Yes, The Wrap is safety tested for babies 8-25 pounds, so as long as your newborn meets the weight minimum, you can start using your Solly right way. In fact, we recommend going “from womb to wrap,” when possible, to ease baby’s transition from womb to world. Being close enough to smell your familiar scent and feel your heartbeat snug, combined with the snug, swaddle-like feel of The Wrap, can be really soothing to them.
Yes! Because The Wrap sits above the incision site, you can use your Solly Wrap after a C-section. (If you tie baby on in your wrap and find that they touch or irritate your incision, take them out and retie your wrap.) Of course, since everyone’s circumstances can vary, we always recommend checking in with your care provider before using The Wrap, just to be sure you have their green light.

Yes! Our Wraps are one of the best options for babywearing in warm weather, thanks to our lightweight and naturally breathable TENCEL™ Modal fabric. And we have plenty of Florida and Texas customers who can attest! (One note: Our Double-Knit and Pointelle Wraps are slightly thicker than our signature wraps, and may be less ideal for ultra-warm climates.)
