Safety tested for little ones 10-45 pounds. For optimal safety and comfort, baby should also be long enough that the top panel sits at or below the bottom of their ear (so their airways are above the panel) when seated in the carrier. Typically, babies who wear size 3-month clothing or bigger fit properly in the carrier.

Your Soft Buckle Carrier questions, answered
Absolutely. The Soft Buckle Carrier was designed to be intuitive—and easy—to put on, with simple buckles and cross-back straps that can be reached and secured without assistance. We know parents and caregivers are often at home or out and about with baby by themselves, so being easy to put on solo was something we weren’t willing to compromise on.
The Soft Buckle Carrier is safety tested for babies 10-45 pounds, but we typically recommend it for babies 3 months to 2+ years. Of course, all little ones grow at different rates. You’ll know your baby is ready for the carrier when you can seat them in the carrier and the bottom of their ear is above the top panel. This means they’re long enough that their airways won’t be obstructed by the carrier and can be worn safely.
Most likely, yes! The Soft Buckle Carrier is designed to be size inclusive with an adjustable waistbelt that can accommodate waist sizes 23"-48". A waistbelt extender is also available for waists up to 56”. The Soft Buckle Carrier can be used for front and back carrying with baby facing inward. Two carrying options allow you to choose baby’s position based on the activity or their preference and easily switch back and forth as needed.

The Soft Buckle Carrier comes with a chest clip for safe back carrying that can be conveniently secured in a hidden shoulder strap for storage. Like other carriers designed for back carrying, wearing baby on your back in The Soft Buckle Carrier requires baby to be able to sit unassisted (usually around 6 months) and may take a bit of practice. Before trying it, we recommend you first gets comfortable using your buckle carrier in the front carry position, and then practice back carrying in a safe space and/or with an extra set of hands for assistance.
