What’s in My Diaper Bag With LaRae Barlow

What’s in My Diaper Bag With LaRae Barlow

You can learn a lot about someone based on the contents of their bag.

Five kinds of lip gloss, two types of blush, and an extra stick of concealer? Beauty maximalist. Tissues, band-aids, and an extra pair of socks? She’s prepared for anything. A small bottle of her favorite hot sauce? A spicy queen.

There’s something endlessly fascinating about what someone else considers *necessary* for lugging around from place to place. And so, we’re putting a Solly spin on the “What’s in my bag?” trend to marry two things we love most: Your on-the-go essentials + motherhood. Enter: Our “What’s in my diaper bag?” series. Let’s dive in.

To start: A few basics that we might not be able to figure out based on your diaper bag contents.

Name: LaRae Barlow

Children: Cooper (5 years), Emberly (2 years), and Baby No. 3 on the way

Location: Scipio, Utah
Occupation: Stay-at-home mom

Now, onto the good stuff. Most-frequented places you take your diaper bag?

I take my Solly Totepack to the store, thrifting, grandma’s, and the park.

Contents of diaper bag (including diaper, cream, and rattle) laid out

Tell us what’s in your diaper bag—the good, the can’t live without, and maybe even a random item or two.

1. Diapers + Wipes. I put them in the mini crossbody that comes with the Solly Totepack, so if you don’t want to take your whole diaper bag with you to change baby, you can just grab the essentials.

2. Solly Baby Wrap. I wear it in the store or at the park instead of pushing around a stroller and love having the option to snuggle baby close.

3. Young Living Thieves Waterless Hand Sanitizer. We use this after all our outings to the park—and definitely after the thrift store.

4. BIBS Pacifier. We love the shape and how cute BIBS pacis are.

5. Swaddle. In case I need to lay baby on the grass, use it as an extra blanket to throw over the car seat, for extra coverage while nursing, etc.

6. Extra outfit for baby + extra pajamas for toddler.

7. Socks. You can never have too many socks! We all lose them so it’s a must to have extra!

8. Bodysuit.

9. Paci Clip.

10. Diaper Bag.
The Solly Totepack is everything I’ve always dreamed of in a diaper bag! Quilted and cloth and the print is so so cute! It has so many pockets and lots of room to pack for those newborn essentials and for my toddler when we leave the house. Even better, I can choose to wear it as a backpack or crossbody bag.
