Full Heart with Haley Taylor

You know that one friend who has a recommendation for everything? Cute sweaters, dewy makeup, functional strollers—you name it, she's got one (and wouldn't dare gatekeep!). That’s Haley, After sharing how much she loved Solly (she called
the wrap a fourth trimester lifesaver), we reached out to chat more about life as a mom of two—including her tips for traveling with young kids (she’s been all over the world with her toddler!), how navigating two high-risk pregnancies has changed her family plans, and building community through content creation.

What’s the transition been like from 1-2?
So beautiful and so hard. This postpartum has been a walk in the park compared to my postpartum with Margot. I’m actually enjoying the slower pace and soaking in Phoebe at every stage. We go on long walks every day, watch TV, and I just love staring at her. She has gotten so smiley recently—it's the sweetest stage.

Margot is so loving with her sister, always asking about her and giving her kisses, but I can also tell the transition was tough for her. Lots of long bedtimes, extra snuggles, and more than a few meltdowns. But overall 1-2 has been SO much easier than 0-1.

When did you start creating content? How has your content shifted since you became a mom?
I began posting consistently in August of 2023. It all started with my love for shopping and trying on my orders. Then I had one video do really well and I’ve taken it pretty seriously since then.

Margot was almost two when I started making content, but I rarely shared anything about my personal life online. As I’ve become more comfortable and grown my community, it's become easier to open up about pregnancy and motherhood. I’ve loved making so many mom friends through social media too—it's so special to know like-minded women going through the same stage of life all over the world.

You’ve visited a lot of places with your toddler. Any tips for traveling with kids?
Low expectations. If you have a jam-packed agenda, you’re not going to enjoy yourself. Toddlers move at their own pace, so try to slow down and just match that energy. Also, going on a trip with a toddler is so different from going on a vacation. What I mean by that is cities with lots of walking and sightseeing, as opposed to lounging by a pool or beach. The next spot we’re eyeing is Costa Rica—both girls are at a great age to lie by a pool (Margot can swim, Phoebe can nap in the shade!).

BEST postpartum meal to bring to a new mom?
I just made a whole video about this! We made spring roll bowls for a friend, and they looked like an edible rainbow. They had rice, peppers, cucumbers, carrots, mango, tons of herbs, and peanut dressing. I need to make them for dinner soon.

We love your monthly favorites videos. List three things you’d put in a fourth trimester favorites video.
Comfy clothes would be at the top of my list. There was no way I was putting jeans on those first few weeks. My Solly Wrap, of course, which I’ve found to work so well during those first few weeks when the baby is so little. And last would be a paci—Phoebe loves nothing more than her paci and thank goodness for that.

What’s a “full heart” moment you’ve experienced recently?
Margot recently started karate (nothing is cuter than a 3.5-year-old in a karate uniform doing a kiai), and she had to stop and say hi to her sister every few minutes during class. She loves her so much, it's so sweet. They are so lucky to have each other - sisters are so special.

You shared in a recent AMA that you went from wanting 3-4 kids to feeling like your family is complete with 2. Say more.
Having two high-risk pregnancies has pretty much sealed the deal that we’re done, but my husband and I like to say never say never! With Margot, I delivered her six weeks early, and she spent 17 days in the NICU. Phoebe was four weeks early but was very healthy once she was born. I had high blood pressure with both girls, and they both were small for their gestational age, which led to a lot of stress while pregnant.  If I could guarantee another newborn like Phoebe and no pregnancy or birth complications, I’d have one more.

What Solly product(s) do you already have, and what are you currently loving/eyeing:
We have two wraps that we got with Margot and have used a ton with Phoebe, too. I also have the nursing cover and a couple of swaddles, which we love! Definitely eyeing the crib sheets since Phoebe will be in a crib before we know it!

Some rapid-fire questions...
Favorite indulgence: Summer House (Bedbugs forever)
Best children’s book: All The World  by Liz Garton Scanlon, it makes me cry every time. Margot and I can recite it by memory at this point.
Drink of choice: Ice water (sorry, I’m boring) or maybe the Island Punch Spindrift (aka sparkling POG)
Favorite sans-kids activity: Shopping followed by lunch with my mom or a girlfriend
Motherhood topic you could talk about forever: How important it is to socialize your kids with other kids and (trusted) adults
Post-bedtime with the kids snack: Dunkers (IYKYK) with a glass of ice-cold milk
