As a Seattle-based content creator and mom of two, Brittany Boyack brings her signature cozy-meets-eclectic style to everything she does—from outfit inspo to her fave Pacific Northwest recs to the way she’s navigating life with Magnolia (4) and Poppy (6 months). Growing up in California and now raising her family in Washington State, Brittany blends coastal inspiration with a laid-back sensibility, making motherhood look equal parts stylish and approachable. We chatted with Brittany about her transition to life with two, her go-to mom outfits, and what she’s most excited for this fall.
You’re 6 months into being a mom of two—how’s the transition been?
It’s been so fun! I was honestly very anxious about how the transition would go, especially since Magnolia has been the only child for the last few years but she has been the best big sister. She loves to help out with Poppy and they’ll play and make each other laugh all day. It’s been so sweet to watch their friendship grow! For me, the transition from 1-2 kids has been easier for me than going from 0-1. I felt a lot more prepared to have a baby this time around both mentally and physically, we kept so many of our favorite baby items and clothes and knew what to expect having a newborn again.

Your style is so fun! How would you describe it?
Thank you! It’s been fun discovering my own personal style while also keeping it mom-friendly! Three words I’d use to describe my personal style are: cozy, eclectic, and coastal. Growing up in California and now living in Seattle with my own little family, I find a lot of inspiration in both where I came from and where I am now!
Go-to mom-all-day outfit right now?
My favorite go-to mom outfit is either a dress with sneakers or flowy, baggy pants with a fun top.
Birth experiences?
My C-section with Magnolia was an emergency one! At around 20 weeks, I started having intense abdominal and back pain that my OB thought was just growing pains but just shy of 38 weeks, I ended up in the ER where they found gallstones. The gallstones were progressing to pancreatitis so we ended up having an emergency c-section that night. My first birth and postpartum experience wasn’t what I expected and was very difficult but grateful Magnolia came out safely!
With my second pregnancy, I knew that this would be our last and talking with my OB, we felt it would be the best to have another C-section. With how my previous experience went, I was very nervous and struggled with the anticipation of it, but I ended up going into labor 2 days before I was scheduled to go in.Technically, it was another emergency one but it went so smoothly, I was able to listen to Beyonce in the OR and had amazing doctors by my side. It was the healing experience I needed after a traumatic first C-section!
Any products you love and recommend for C-section recovery?
The products that helped me the most during my recovery was having ice packs on hand for around the incision, a belly band to feel held together, and scar pads to protect my incision.
What’s on your fall bucket list?
I’m hoping to take the girls apple picking and to as many pumpkin patches as we can! We can’t wait to experience fall and Halloween with our Poppy girl.
