keep baby close + keep baby safe

Your wrap should be tight enough to hug baby close for optimal support. Any slack in the fabric may cause baby to slump down in the wrap, which can hinder their breathing and strain your back.

You should be able to see baby’s face by simply glancing down. You shouldn’t need to pull the fabric away from their face to check on them.

Baby’s head should be as close to your chin as is comfortable. By tilting your head forward, you should be able to kiss baby on the head—and inhale that intoxicating newborn smell!

Baby should never be curled so their chin is forced onto their chest, which can restrict breathing. Ensure there is always a space of at least a finger width under baby’s chin.

Baby should be held comfortably close so their back is supported in a natural upright position and their tummy and chest are against the wearer.

The Solly Baby Loop Carrier is the perfect way to transition from the Solly Wrap as your baby grows. It's designed for babes weighing 15 to 45 pounds, allowing you to continue babywearing even when they grow out of the Wrap.
The Loop is inspired by the short front cross carrying style and combines the ease of a sling and the support of a wrap. With its sewn-in ring design, it's easy to adjust as needed. The woven design offers additional support, and the 100% organic cotton material is soft and breathable. This healthy hip certified product helps to promote bonding, prosocial behavior and developing vestibular and proprioceptive senses.
It's just as easy as learning how to use a Solly Wrap. In fact, if you're already a baby wrap user, you should have no trouble at all adapting to the Solly Loop. Many of the steps are similar, but the Loop Carrier incorporates a ring in the back that you'll thread the material through. This helps to create a snug, adjustable fit that keeps you and baby comfortable. If you still need assistance with any of your Solly products, book a free consult with our babywearing educator here.
