First, meet Lindy Dodge – wife, new twin mama, and maker living in the Pacific Northwest. Today she’s giving a little insight to what makes this season special for her and her family.

“We packed up the babies and headed to the tree farm we both spent our childhoods going to, to start traditions of our own. I wrestled two babies as Trav cut down our tree and forever and ever this will be one of my favorite memories. I’m so dang grateful for family and this life we are creating together.”

Meet Elexis Bronson – she lives in Utah with her three kiddos and husband. Elexis is a free spirit who blogs about motherhood, fashion and everything in between over at BB Fashion & Life.

“We are big holiday people. My family always made a huge deal about Christmas so I knew when I had kids I would be the same way. Our biggest tradition we started with our children is all about the Christmas tree. Every year we go the Saturday after Thanksgiving and let them pick out a new ornament and then go home, set the tree up, and decorate it together. Once the tree is done we sit and watch a Christmas movie next to it. The kids look forward to it every year and it was extra exciting this year to see them picking out an ornament for their little sister. We hope that this tradition lasts long after our children get older.”

Next up, meet Anna Liesemeyer. Anna is a wife, mother of five and blogger at In Honor of Design. She writes about style, design, family, and a few things in between. Anna is focused on making the most of this life and living it intentionally and purposefully.

“Our family has a night dedicated to lighting the tree. We put on a little Bing Crosby Christmas album, warm up the hot chocolate, and dance party the night away as we trim the tree. We usually have some ornament heavy branches thanks to my little helpers, but our tacky tree is home to me. I love experiencing Christmas through their eyes.”
